This season Holland also introduces his own brand denim (he has only ever collaborated with Lee in the past) and I recks it will be tres successful, smart move. I love the bleach splattered ones from this collection, which give a fluffy cloud effect, super cute against the rebellious python skin and metallic fish net pieces.

They sailed away for a year and a day

Thought I would share Natalie Anne Moran's first collection with you. Even though these pieces have been out since before April I am still in love with this collection.
Natalie's interpretation of cartoons and underwear which she hailed as inspiration is sooo far from what I would have conjured up from these two key words! Far from harsh and wacky, this collection is soft, pretty and fun.
Launching in 2011 the line comprises variations on the theme of classic T-Shirts and jeans re-hashed with embroidery, print, cut, unexpected detailing, a fusion of fabrics and a dash of mischief.

Natalie Anne Moran

Long time no speak, so expect a flood of posts now!

I am currently working one day a week for independent womenswear designer Natalie Anne Moran and we have just finished the Spring/Summer '12 Lookbook (as styled by Kyanisha Morgan). Definitely enjoying being a PA to the lovely lady and have also been made an author to her blog so will be dividing my time between Style A-Y and Natalia Supernova!

For her latest collection of day to night pieces Natalie has taken influence from photographer Alice Hawkins, her photographs of Blackpool and Vegas have inspired a colour saturated and embellished range of pieces. 

I want me the argyle crop tee and spotted tulle maxi!

Hallo

I dressed up multiple times this Halloween. Outfit count hit four before the 31st even came. Outfit four involved my interpretation of a skeleton, none of that Nicki Minaj business in V Magazine though, instead I look back and think I verged on mental patient, Hannibal Lecter style? Less obvious of course, and I could hide behind the T-shirt (which I bought; carbon copies can be found in Urban Outfitters or make like a smart one and do it yourself)
